This water filter is suitable for those who want to purify their water from iron and sediment and particles. The filter consists of 2pcs. 20" BB filter housings that are connected in series.
Suitable for holiday homes/summer houses or smaller permanent residences.
The first filter housing is intended for a 20 micron PP sediment filter cartridge that purifies the water from dirt, soil, rust and microparticles. The cartridge is replaced approximately every 6 months depending on water consumption and water quality. (1st cartridge included).
The second filter housing is intended for an iron cartridge for efficient purification of iron in the water. The iron cartridge reduces iron by up to 80% and is recommended for those with a concentration that does not exceed 3mg iron/FE per liter of water.
We have 2 different iron cartridges to choose from for this filter solution, either the Ecosoft cartridge for you with a maximum of 1 mg iron/L, or the Pentek cartridge for you with a maximum of 3 mg iron/L. You choose the cartridge type in the drop-down menu at the top.
The iron cartridge contains a mixture of catalytic sorption material, activated carbon and pH corrector. The cartridge is replaced every 3-12 months depending on water consumption and the type of cartridge you choose in combination with your water quality/iron content. (1st cartridge included).
This is one of the most compact solutions for iron reduction on the market and one of the major advantages is that this filter requires no backwash and therefore no connection to drains. Furthermore, you easily take care of the maintenance yourself as you easily change the two cartridges in 10 minutes.
If you consume large amounts of water, e.g. a permanent home with many people in the household or have an iron content above 3mg/L, we recommend a traditional backwashed iron filter instead.

The water must enter through the sediment cartridge and out through the iron cartridge. There are directional arrows on top of the filter housings that show which way the water should flow through the filter. As the filter comes mounted on delivery, the water must come in from the left side and out on the right side. But it is possible to loosen the filter housings from the wall bracket and mirror them inverted, if you prefer to bring incoming water from the right side.
